StitchAI Pty Ltd ("StitchAI", "we", "us", or "our") operates the StitchAI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name
• Email address
• Authentication credentials

Business Data

To provide core App functionality, we store business data you enter, including:

• Customer records
• Projects and tasks
• Enquiries and leads
• Notes and attachments

Microphone Audio

The App uses your device's microphone for voice commands. Speech recognition is performed on-device using Apple Speech Recognition. Audio data is processed in real time and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

Camera Input

The App accesses your device camera for document scanning. Captured images are processed locally to extract text and are not stored beyond the immediate scanning session unless you choose to save the resulting document.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Provide core App features — AI-powered briefings, intelligent search, and task management
• Personalise your experience based on your business data
• Send transactional communications (account verification, security alerts)
• Improve and maintain the App

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your business data is stored in isolated, per-tenant databases. Each organisation's data is logically separated from all other organisations.

Audio from voice commands is processed on-device and is never stored on our servers.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic Claude API — powers AI chat, briefings, and intelligent search. Business data sent to the API is processed according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use your data to train models under our commercial agreement.
• Apple Speech Recognition — processes voice commands on-device. No audio data leaves your device.
• Expo / EAS — used for app builds and over-the-air updates. Expo may collect anonymous usage analytics as described in their privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your data from our active systems within 30 days. Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days before being purged.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — with third-party services listed above, solely to provide App functionality
• Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or legal process
• Safety — to protect the rights, safety, or property of StitchAI, our users, or the public

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@stitchai.com.au and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
